Lorenzo Ortiz

Lorenzo Ortiz has a diverse work experience. Lorenzo is currently the Co-founder and Innovation Director at Redesign Lab, where they lead a team in designing products, services, and businesses for a sustainable future. Lorenzo also holds the position of Head of Operations at TASA - Empresa del Grupo Breca.

In the past, Lorenzo has served as a Community Member and an Exponential Inception Program Fellow at Singularity University. Lorenzo has also worked as a Plant Manager at Exandal USA Corp. Additionally, Lorenzo has extensive experience at TASA - Empresa del Grupo Breca, where they have held various roles such as Project Manager, Operations Coordinator, Lead R&D Engineer, Process Engineer, and Operations Trainee. In these positions, they have been responsible for leading teams, cost management, budgeting control, product development, forecasting, and scenario evaluation.

Lorenzo Ortiz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Lorenzo pursued further education and completed a Communication Level Program at the Universidad del Pacífico in 2014. In the same year, they also completed a Process Management and Improvement program at CENTRUM PUCP. In 2015, Lorenzo attended the INCAE Business School for the Young Executives Program. Lorenzo continued their education in 2017 with a course in Business Analytics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Recently, Lorenzo has been pursuing an Executive Master's degree in Operations Management at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, which they started in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in 2020, and Regression Models with Python from Coursera in the same year. Lorenzo also completed courses such as Business Process Analytics in R from DataCamp in 2019, and AI For Everyone and Machine Learning for Business Professionals from Coursera in the same year. Lorenzo is currently participating in the CEO Challenge Program at GRIDX, with an expected completion date in March 2023.
