Nathan Rowlands

Nathan Rowlands is an Operational Technology Engineer with experience at Oribus and TasNetworks since January 2020. Currently, Nathan works with the Network Operations Control Systems team, contributing to the Automatic Fault Restoration project by developing a Utility Network Model (UNM) of the Tasmanian HV distribution network using ArcGIS and enhancing the Distribution Management System with features such as Switch Order Management and FLISR. Previously, as an Electrical Power Engineering Intern at TasNetworks, Nathan engaged in projects including the design and implementation of a Runback control scheme for Granville Harbour windfarm and documentation updates for network RTUs. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Tasmania, completed in 2019.
