Abhisek Purkayastha

Abhisek Purkayastha is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Director of Agency at Tata AIA Life Insurance since February 2021. Prior to this role, Abhisek held the position of Zonal Head at Turtlemint from November 2018 to January 2021. Abhisek's career also includes significant roles at Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance, where responsibilities included Regional Managing Partner and Zonal Training Head from May 2014 to November 2018, as well as Chief Manager in Strategy and Quality Assurance at Kotak Mahindra Old Life Insurance Limited from September 2013 to April 2014. Earlier in the career, Abhisek worked at Tata AIA Life Insurance Co.Ltd. as Senior Manager and Cluster Head from December 2007 to September 2013 and at Nicholas Piramal India Ltd. as Area Business Manager from November 2000 to December 2007. Abhisek holds a Bachelor's degree in Botany from Guru Charan College, completed in 1999, and attended Silchar Collegiate School from 1984 to 1994.
