Piyush Gupta

Piyush Gupta has had a successful career in various leadership and technical roles. Piyush is currently working at Tata AIA Life Insurance as the Sr. Vice President and Head of Innovation, where they lead the innovation team and focuses on solving challenging business and technology problems. Piyush also heads the Generative AI Center of Excellence to drive innovative research and development of Generative AI applications. Prior to their current role, Piyush worked at UnitedHealth Group as the Vice President and Sr. Distinguished Engineer, leading research and development efforts and driving collaboration across technology, operations, and analytics. Before that, they held various positions at @WalmartLabs, MindTree Ltd., International Decision Systems, GE Healthcare, and STMicroelectronics, where they contributed to the design, architecture, and development of cutting-edge technologies and enterprise-wide systems.

Piyush Gupta obtained a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from Indira Gandhi National Open University between 2000 and 2002. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) from the same university, spanning the years 1997 to 2000. Earlier, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (B.Sc) from Delhi University from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, they attended APJ School, NOIDA from 1993 to 1995 and APJ School Saket from 1991 to 1993. In 2015 and 2016, they participated in the Leadership Excellence & Advancement Program at the Indian School of Business.
