Samrat Gupta

Samrat Gupta is the current CEO at TMF Holdings. Prior to this, they were GM Finance at HCL Technologies from October 2006 to December 2007, where they were responsible for mergers and acquisition, investor relations, and project financing & structuring. Samrat also completed quarterly investor road-shows (non deal) with US, UK, and HK FIIs.

In May 2007, Samrat Gupta joined Tata Technologies Limited as Chief Financial Officer and Chief People Officer. Tata Technologies Limited is an engineering & IT services company with revenues of US$400mn. As Chief Financial Officer, Samrat was responsible for formulation of global business plan and reporting quarterly performance to Board of Directors. Samrat was also responsible for global accounts, global audit, consolidation as per IGAAP, and IFRS. Additionally, they were in charge of effective management and accounting of corporate tax for 14 tax jurisdictions, transfer pricing, et al. Other responsibilities included foreign exchange management, treasury & working capital management, and hedge accounting.

During their time as Chief People Officer, Samrat Gupta was responsible for heading the Employee Experience Leadership Team & managing global HR function. Samrat also rolled out Return on Human Capital (ROHC) Program globally with a PMO set to track and execute the plan. Additionally, they improved employee engagement (Gallup Score) from 3.35 in 2008 to 3.61 in 2012 (overall) and HR department score from 3.71 to 4.16. Furthermore, he

Samrat Gupta pursued an MBA Degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from The University of Manchester. Samrat also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from St Xaviers College. Samrat is also a National Talent Search Examination scholar.
