Chris Read

Chris Read has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Chris began their career as a Section Engineer at Cleveland Structural Engineering in 1996. Chris then worked as a Project Manager at Cleveland Bridge & Engineering Middle East (Private) Ltd from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they served as an Assistant Project Manager at Bovis Lend Lease from 1998 to 2000. From 2001 to 2010, they worked as an Operations Manager at Vetter UK Ltd.

In 2010, Read joined Overseas Bechtel, Incorporated as a Resident Engineer for the Main Terminal Building. Chris worked in this role until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they held multiple roles at Bechtel Infrastructure, including Proposal Manager for US Aviation Business Development and Construction Manager for PNW LNG - FEED Marine Works.

Read then worked at Bechtel - Enka - Bahwan JV from 2016 to 2018, first as a Field Subcontract Manager for the Passenger Terminal Complex and later as the PTB Sub Area Manager for Sub Areas 4 & 5. In 2018, they joined BACS Riyadh Metro Project as the Deputy Delivery Director for Main Stations, responsible for the delivery and handover of various work locations. Chris also served as the Line 1 Finishes Delivery Manager during this time.

Most recently, Read has been working at Tata Projects as a Project Director for Package 2 of the Noida International Airport. Chris is responsible for overseeing the delivery of various aspects of the airport, excluding the Terminal.

Chris Read attended Coventry University from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a BEng degree in Civil Engineering. Chris is also a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
