Jaskaran Singh

Jaskaran Singh has a range of work experience in the field of data science. Jaskaran started their career as a Summer Intern at The Kites in 2018. In this role, they gained valuable experience for two months. In 2020, Jaskaran joined Sabudh Foundation as an Intern, where they learned about Python, Probability and Statistics, and ML Algorithms. During their time at Sabudh Foundation, they built an image segmentation model using U-Net. Later in 2020, Jaskaran joined Tatras Data and worked as a Jr. Data Scientist. In this role, they developed neural network-based assistance for candidate search, built a resume parser using OCR technique, created a NER model to extract important entities from resumes, integrated data from multiple platforms, developed a knowledge graph-based recommender system using random walks, and worked on predicting price direction in the crypto market using Twitter sentiments data. Jaskaran's tenure at Tatras Data is ongoing as an Associate Data Scientist.
