Amr Tawfik has extensive experience in the IT industry. Amr started their career as a Network Administrator at the Institute of African Research and Studies in 2003, where they were responsible for managing the network, setting up servers, and providing technical support. Amr then worked as a Senior Network Admin at Menatel from 2004 to 2007.

In 2007, Tawfik joined Emaar Misr For Development as an IT Manager, where they played a crucial role in managing the connectivity between Dubai and Cairo, overseeing systems in Egypt projects and Emaar Sale Center. Amr held this position until 2016.

Since 2016, Tawfik has been serving as the Chief Information Officer at Tatweer Misr. In this role, they report to the Managing Director and is responsible for managing the entire IT infrastructure, including data center management, vendor relationships, technical support, application development, financial monitoring, and disaster recovery planning. Amr also oversees budgets and projects.

Amr Tawfik obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Information Technology from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in 2011. In 2017, they pursued a Doctorate in Business Administration in Management Information Systems, General at Cairo University. Amr also attended an Innovation Strategy Program at Babson College in 2017. Prior to this, they earned a Diploma in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo in 2004 and a B.A degree in Accounting from Cairo University in 2002. Additionally, Amr Tawfik has obtained certifications such as Ethical Hacker Certified from EC-Council in 2015, IT Service Management Foundation based on ISO/IEC 20000 from EXIN in 2012, and PMP from PMI.
