Emily Nohrr, CMP has a diverse work experience in event management and alumni engagement. Emily currently serves as the Assistant Director of Young Alumni Engagement & Philanthropy at the University of Central Florida, where they create and executes in-person and virtual events and collaborates with campus partners to promote young alumni programming. Prior to this, Emily worked as the Florida Director of Sales and Events at Tavern Restaurant Group, where they marketed and planned corporate and social events across four venues in Florida. During their tenure, they achieved various accolades such as the University of Central Florida's 30 Under 30 award and the Meeting Professionals International RISE Award for Membership Achievement. Additionally, Emily volunteered as a Board Member for the Greater Orlando Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, where they played a key role in growing membership and received the MPI Global RISE Award for their contributions.

Emily Nohrr, CMP completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. After their undergraduate studies, they obtained their Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in August 2015. In 2020, they further expanded their knowledge and skills by earning two additional certifications. Firstly, they obtained a Certification in the Science of Well-Being from Yale University in October 2020. Additionally, they completed a Certification in Hospitality and Tourism from Florida Atlantic University in April 2020.
