Shane Rimmer

Shane Rimmer has over 20 years of experience in software development and programming. Shane is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at TaxSlayer since March 2023. Before joining TaxSlayer, Shane worked at Workful as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2021 to February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Software Developer at TaxSlayer, LLC from May 2018 to January 2021. From 2013 to 2018, Shane worked as a Software Architect at Intermedix, where they used C# to develop ASP.Net emergency response systems. Shane also worked as a Programmer at ESi-Emergency Services integrators from May 2006 to December 2012, using C# to develop ASP.Net emergency response systems. Before transitioning to the software industry, Shane worked as an Information Analyst at Medical College of Georgia from May 2005 to April 2006. Shane started their career as a Programmer at Digital Dimensions Inc from August 2003 to May 2005 and as a Co-op Student at Olin from September 2000 to August 2003.

Shane Rimmer pursued their education at Augusta State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Shane attended the university from 1998 to 2003.
