Moritz Karl

Moritz Karl has experience working as a Product Manager at Taxy.io since 2023. In this role, they have been responsible for the product discovery, validation, UX research, and strategy development for a tax software product. Moritz has also worked at Bayer from 2018 to 2022, where they held various roles including Digital Product Manager Supply Chain and IT Project Lead. Their responsibilities at Bayer included user story definition, backlog refinement, development budget allocation, and supporting initiatives in data engineering and dashboard design. Moritz completed an Integrated Degree Program in Business Informatics (Data Science) during their time at Bayer, where they gained experience in software development, supply chain management, and eCommerce.

Moritz Karl began their education in 2018 at Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW), where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Informatics with a minor in Data Science. Moritz completed their undergraduate studies in 2021.

In 2021, Moritz Karl enrolled at the University of Duisburg-Essen to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Informatics. Moritz is expected to complete their postgraduate studies in 2024.

Additionally, Moritz Karl has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2020, they received the certification of Computer Science Expert - Software Development from IHK Köln. Moritz also completed the courses "Software Processes and Agile Practices" and "Introduction to Software Product Management" from the University of Alberta in 2020 and 2019, respectively. Furthermore, in 2021, they obtained the "AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
