Vassil Popovski

Vassil Popovski has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Vassil is currently the Owner of CTO Quest, where they help guide companies to success by addressing technical, people, process, and organizational challenges. Vassil also provides CTO as a service.

In 2023, Vassil worked as an Interim CTO and Technical Advisor at Taylor & Hart, an interior design company.

Prior to that, Vassil served as an LP at LAUNCHub Ventures in 2021 and Eleven Ventures in 2020, where they provided investment support.

Vassil was an Angel Investor at SessionStack from 2019 onwards, and also served as an Angel Investor at CEO Angels Club from 2018.

From 2022 to 2023, Vassil was the Chief Technology Officer at DesignTechnologies, a Material Bank® company, where they led an engineering team of 35 people.

Vassil had a significant tenure at Leanplum, starting in 2018. Vassil served as VP of Product Development, General Manager of Leanplum Bulgaria, Sr. Director of Product Development, and Sofia Site Lead.

Before joining Leanplum, Vassil co-founded Connecto.ai in 2016, where they served as CEO until the company was acquired by Leanplum in 2018.

Vassil's earlier experience includes working at VMware, where they held various leadership roles. Vassil served as Sr. Director of PS CoE, responsible for building and leading a new engineering organization. Vassil also held roles as Sr. Director of R&D, Director of R&D, Director of Quality Engineering, Staff Engineer in R&D, and Senior Manager in R&D.
