As a native of Indiana, Sarah is a proud Hoosier. She grew up in Columbus, about 40 miles south of Indianapolis. Columbus has been called one of the best cities in the world for architecture lovers, with more than 90 buildings and pieces of public art by internationally noted architects and artists, including I.M. Pei, Richard Meier, Eero Saarinen, Henry Moore and Dale Chihuly.
With that kind of influence growing up, it’s a natural fit for Sarah to now spend her days working with real estate industry clients, including architects, designers, homebuilders, developers, brokerage firms and apartment management companies.
Sarah discovered public relations as a career path while attending Indiana University, and after graduating, she worked for several PR firms – managing accounts for national consumer brands ranging from bath tissue and breakfast sausage to Kentucky bourbon – before joining Taylor Johnson in 2006.
As a senior account director for Taylor Johnson, Sarah directs strategy and oversees day-to-day account activity for clients. She specializes in drafting and editing content including press releases, blog posts, bylined articles and website copy, in addition to managing media relations efforts and social media campaigns.
When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys traveling with her husband, Paul, and her two sons, and adding to the growing list of national parks they’ve visited. She’s a voracious reader of historical fiction and also spends time raising heirloom tomatoes in her garden.
