Romyr Dominique is a highly experienced chemist currently serving as Director of Medicinal Chemistry at TB Alliance since January 2025. With a strong background in medicinal and organic chemistry, Romyr held the position of Director of Chemistry at PMV Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from February 2015 to January 2025, where significant contributions included the discovery of Rezatapopt (PC14586), a first-in-class small-molecule reactivator of the p53 Y220C mutant. Prior roles include drug hunter reviewer at Drug Hunter, research staff at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology, senior scientist at both Hager Biosciences and Roche, and postdoctoral fellow at The Scripps Research Institute. Romyr earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Ottawa, where the dissertation focused on the application of olefin metathesis in chemical glycobiology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Université de Montréal.
