Amal Susainathan

Amal Susainathan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Currently, they are the Head of Engineering - Digital & Innovation at TBC Corporation since September 2022. Prior to this, Amal worked as a TEALS Volunteer at TEALSK12, where they served as a Teaching Assistant for AP Computer Science at Henry M Jackson High School. They also volunteered for TEALS, a technology education and literacy program in schools. Before joining TBC Corporation, Amal spent many years at Microsoft Corporation, where they held the position of Engineering Lead / Architect. They contributed to the end-to-end development and support of a content build and publishing platform system, achieving significant efficiency gains for engineers and users. Amal's previous experience includes roles as a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Visible Technologies, Senior Software Architect at GlobalScholar.com, Lead Technical Architect at WideOrbit, and Senior Lead Software Engineer at Zetron Inc. They also worked as a Solutions Architect at Coldwater Creek and held various roles at CamSystems and Derivative Systems as a Senior Developer and Developer.

Amal Susainathan completed their M.Sc degree in Computer Science at St. Joseph's College Trichy from 1990 to 1992.
