Mike Brock

Mike Brock is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and strategic development. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at TBD, a new business unit of Block focused on creating a decentralized and inclusive financial system, Mike also leads the core leadership team at Block and drives strategic initiatives within Cash App. Mike began a career in software engineering in 1997, holding various roles at companies such as Tyco Flow Control, MarketModels, and CoreBrix, eventually founding and maintaining the open-source MVEL expression language project. Prior roles include Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat Inc. and IT consultant, underscoring a strong foundation in custom software solutions and project leadership.
