Jason Watkins

Jason Watkins is the EVP & CFO at Orlando Sanford International Airport. Jason previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Georgia Municipal Association from January 2021 to May 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the Association's financial management functions, advised the Executive Director and other staff on the Association's financial goals and strategies, and administered the General Fund's active cash management program. Jason also served as the liaison to independent auditors, bankers, financial advisers, underwriters, actuaries, bond counselors and governmental regulatory staff regarding the Association's financial functions.

At Orlando Sanford International Airport, Jason is responsible for the airport's overall financial management and strategy. Jason oversees the airport's budgeting, accounting, and auditing functions, as well as its investment portfolio. Jason also works with the airport's executive team to develop and implement long-term financial goals and strategies.

Jason Watkins has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Florida, with a focus in finance and management information systems. Jason also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Florida in telecommunications operations. In addition, they are certified by the AAAE as an accredited airport executive, by the American Association of Airport Executives as a certified member, by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation as a certified public accountant, by Intuit as a certified Quickbooks Online user, by the Internal Revenue Service as an enrolled agent, and by the Institute of Internal Auditors as a certified internal auditor. Jason also holds a Series 7 license from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
