Joe Helle

Joe Helle has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Chief Hacking Officer at TCM Security. In this position, they lead the organization's penetration testing practice and manages a team of penetration testers. Joe also executes various ethical hacking operations, including external, internal, web application, mobile, wireless, and red team assessments.

Prior to their current role, Joe was a Red Team Lead at TCM Security for six months and a Senior Penetration Tester for one year. Joe also worked as a Security Engineer at Integration Partners, where they conducted web application, external, and internal penetration testing, as well as phishing and social engineering.

Before transitioning into the field of cybersecurity, Joe served as the Mayor of the Village of Oak Harbor and owned and operated Oak N' Harbor Distillery. Joe also worked as a Resource Manager at Team Rubicon, a Paramedic at Mid County EMS, and a Sergeant in the United States Army, where they had deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and was responsible for the training and leadership of subordinate soldiers.

Joe Helle has a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. Joe obtained this degree in the year 2022. Prior to their Master's Degree, Joe obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance from the same university in the year 2019.
