Andrea Walker is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in urgent care and geriatric medicine. Currently serving as a Nurse Practitioner at Treasure Coast Medical Associates, Inc. since June 2020, Andrea manages a variety of acute illnesses and injuries. Concurrently, Andrea also works with ReliantMD since October 2019. Previously, Andrea contributed to the care of geriatric patients at Miami Jewish Health Systems from July 2016 to June 2018 and managed chronic illnesses at Family Medical Group from June 2012 to February 2016. Early in the career, Andrea worked as a Registered Nurse at Baptist Health South Florida from November 2008 to May 2012, gaining experience in telemetry and medical-surgical care. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Family Nursing from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University. Andrea's commitment to service is further highlighted by participation as a member of AmeriCorps from August 2004 to July 2005.
