Elizabeth Yan

Ms. Yan is a Managing Director and Senior Consultant Relations Executive covering relationships located in the Eastern U.S. Prior to joining TCW, she was the head of Business Development at 1623 Capital, an emerging long-short equity hedge fund. Ms. Yan also spent several years as Vice President managing consultant relationships at AQR Capital Management. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing existing client relationships, advising on asset allocation and portfolio construction, and discussing AQR’s investment strategies. Earlier in her career, she spent time in the Credit Portfolio Group at JP Morgan and on the Debt Capital Markets team at HSBC. In addition, she is a member of the Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM), a national non-profit organization dedicated to increasing diversity and inclusion in investment management. Ms. Yan holds a BS in Finance and Accounting at Boston College and earned an MBA with a concentration in Analytic Finance and Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Ms. Yan is a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and is a member of the New York CFA Society. She holds the Series 3, 7, and 63 FINRA licenses.
