Hakusei Ko

Mr. Ko joined TCW in 2015 as Managing Director responsible for product development in Japan. For the past half-decade prior to joining TCW, he spent the majority of his time focusing on product development in order to provide investment solutions for both retail and institutional clients at BNP Paribas Investment Partners and Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Asset Management. He also has experience working as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Daiwa Securities SMBC. He started his career at Mizuho Securities where he was involved in mutual fund operations. Mr. Ko holds an MA in Applied Finance from Macquarie University in Australia and a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
