Shinichi Okamoto

As Executive Officer, Regional CEO for the Americas and Europe of Nippon Life Insurance Company, Mr. Okamoto oversees business operations on those continents. He most recently worked as Executive Officer and General Manager at Finance & Investment Planning Department of Nippon Life in Japan. Since Joining Nippon Life in 1992, Mr. Okamoto has held various senior leadership positions including Senior General Manager, Finance & Investment Planning Department and Co-CFO & CIO for MLC limited in Australia. He has extensive experience in international M&A. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Keio University. He has earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan (CMA).
