Sharad Kumar

Sharad Kumar is a seasoned professional in risk management, with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Head of Risk for Credit Card, Unsecured Lending, and Retail Bank at TD, Sharad has previously held significant positions at Citi, including Chief Risk Officer for Proprietary Cards and Unsecured Lending, as well as Head of Unsecured Risk Strategies for Credit Cards & Loans. Sharad also served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Analytics at the Royal Bank of Scotland, overseeing multiple areas including Technology & Infrastructure and Debt Management. Early in the career, Sharad worked at Capital One in various roles, culminating as Senior Business Manager, and began as a Marine Engineer at Barber Ship Management Ltd. Sharad holds an MBA in Finance & Operations from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
