Sharon Rothwell

Sharon Rothwell has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Sharon currently works at TD Insurance, where they hold the position of Practice Lead - Software Engineering Guidewire Practice since March 2023. Prior to this, they were an IT Manager - Development at TD Insurance from March 2022 to April 2023.

Sharon also worked at Tecsys Inc. as a Project Manager / Team Leader from May 2012 to April 2014, and as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst from November 1999 to April 2012. Their earliest work experience was at CN, where they served as a Quality Assurance Analyst from October 1997 to October 1999.

Throughout their career, Sharon has gained valuable experience in software engineering, development management, project management, team leadership, and quality assurance.

Sharon Rothwell holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Ottawa. In 2014, they obtained the certification of Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Additionally, they recently acquired the certification of Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in July 2021.
