Aamir Nawaz

Aamir Nawaz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Aamir started their career as a Manager in Capital Markets at Crescent Commercial Bank in 1998 before moving on to Pak Kuwait Investment Co. Ltd as an Assistant Vice President & Trader, F.I & MM. At Pak Kuwait Investment, Aamir managed proprietary books, handled inter-bank money market operations, and actively participated in developing strategies and risk management. Aamir then joined Citi as a Client Service Officer, where they analyzed and processed financial transactions and performed quality control operations. Aamir later worked at Scotiabank as an Analyst in Fixed Income & Money Market, where they ensured pricing and P&L accuracy of government and US treasuries.

In 2010, Aamir joined TD as a Senior Business Analyst, focusing on Fixed Income & Money Market. Aamir developed and maintained requirement documentation, executed test strategies, and maintained technical and production support documentation. Aamir gradually moved up the ranks and took on the role of Global Lead / IT Manager - Fixed Income / FX Cash & Derivative Systems at TD, where they managed teams globally for various trading and settlement applications. Aamir was responsible for managing critical book of record systems, infrastructure, and various interfaces.

Aamir'smost recent role is Global Head / Director at TD Securities, which they started in 2020.

Aamir Nawaz has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Banking & Finance from the Institute of Business Management. Aamir also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Commerce / Business from Govt. College of Commerce & Econ., and a Diploma in Computer Science from Petroman.
