Manasi Jain

Manasi Jain is the current Chief of Staff at Teach For India. Manasi is a Teach For India Fellow alum, having served as a fellow from June 2017 to April 2019. During their fellowship, they taught Math, Science & English to 138 Class X students in Dharavi & Ghatkopar slums and raised average results by 20%, through targeted & personalised feedback. Manasi also ran a successful fundraiser on Ketto, raising INR 225K to revamp school infrastructure. In addition, they authored a report on "Teaching English as a Second Language" to the Education Board of Maharashtra and mentored students for citywide & international competitions; leading them to 3 special mentions, a best media representative award and 3 acceptances in KWHS Global Young Leader's Academy at Wharton Business School.

Prior to Teach For India, Manasi worked as a Consultant at Cognizant Business Consulting from May 2015 to June 2017. During their time there, they worked across BD, requirement analysis & project delivery in Insurance (US/JP clients). Manasi leveraged their Japanese Language Proficiency for successful sales pitch to Japan subsidiary of 62.3B USD client and liaised cross-country teams to re-design 4 out of 13 workflows in a business process reengineering project. In addition, they headed a team of 9, across 3 cities, in a business rules migration project for a 28.9B USD client (#6 in US). Manasi increased team productivity by 10x and introduced resource planning, allocation, monitoring & risk assessment. Manasi delivered 80% of a 3-yr.

Manasi Jain has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and a certification from the Japanese Language Proficiency Test in Level N3. Manasi also attended D.A.V. Public School, Airoli, Navi Mumbai.

Manasi Jain reports to Shaheen Mistri, CEO & Founder. They are on a team with Swetha Balakrishnan - Director, Recruitment, Nalika Braganza - Program Director, Training & Impact, and Ashwath Bharath - Senior Director, Movement Building.
