Margaret Romeo

Margaret Romeo has extensive work experience at Teachers Mutual Bank Limited. Margaret began their career at the company in 1978 as a Senior Clerk and worked in this role until 1986. Margaret then worked as a Relief Officer from 1993 to 1995 before being promoted to the position of Credit & Insurance Manager, which they held from 1995 to 2013. Currently, Margaret serves as the Head of Credit, where they are responsible for managing a team of over 60 staff and overseeing the lending portfolio of Teachers Mutual Bank. In this role, they ensure the efficient, effective, competitive, and compliant processing and delivery of all credit services. Margaret also develops and maintains an operational risk and compliant framework for credit.

Margaret Romeo completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of South Australia from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attained their School Certificate from Catherine McAuley High School between 1974 and 1977.
