Lindsay Romano

Lindsay Romano is a Ph.D. candidate at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, where also serves as an adjunct professor and graduate research assistant since August 2019. In addition to academic roles, Lindsay holds multiple positions at Teaching Lab, including Learning & Research Manager and State-Level Partnerships Manager. Prior experience includes serving as Accelerate Fellowship Learning Director and Recruitment Manager at Teach For America from July 2017 to September 2019, and as a Fulbright Scholar in Colombia from July 2016 to May 2017. Lindsay's teaching background includes roles at Democracy Prep Public Schools as an 11th and 12th-grade special education teacher and EL Coordinator from August 2013 to July 2016, as well as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Delaware from May 2012 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from New York University (2019-2023), a Master of Science in Education from Hunter College (2013-2015), and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/International Relations with minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Delaware (2009-2013).
