Melissa Ramos has work experience in various roles. Melissa started their career as an Administrative Assistant at The Madison Square Garden Company in 2013, where they worked until 2014. In 2019, they joined Teaching Lab as an Executive Assistant and then transitioned into the role of Manager, People Operations in September 2020.

Melissa Ramos attended Miami Palmetto Senior High School, where they completed their education in 1999. Melissa then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Florida International University. Melissa obtained additional certifications, including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021. In September 2021, they obtained the Associate Professional in Human Resources® (aPHR®) certification from HRCI. Melissa's education journey continued, and in June 2023, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification, also from HRCI.
