Alexis Simmons

Alexis Simmons has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alexis is currently working as a Project Director for Online Professional Development at Teaching Strategies LLC since February 2022. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2023, they worked as a Project Manager at Quality Assist Inc. In 2013, they were an Operations Consultant at The Frazer Center, and from 2011 to 2012, they served as a Communications Manager at T.A. Consulting. Starting their career in 2003, Alexis worked as a Communications Manager at Northrop Grumman Corporation until 2011.

Alexis Simmons earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American/United States Studies/Civilization from Wellesley College, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Later, from 1994 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
