Kellyn Moran

Vice President, Business Applications at Teaching Strategies

Kellyn Moran has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Kellyn started their career as a News Editor at The Miami Student in 2007 and later interned at the National Head Start Association and Geneva Social Observatory. Kellyn then worked as an Early Childhood Teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, Kellyn became a 1st Grade Literacy Teacher at DC Prep before transitioning to a role as an Implementation Associate at Teaching Strategies, LLC. Kellyn continued to advance within the company, serving as a Manager, Business Operations and then as a Director of Internal Business Systems. In 2021, they were promoted to Senior Director, Business Systems, and later became the Vice President of Business Applications. Throughout their career, Kellyn has demonstrated skills in project management, vendor management, system implementation, and team collaboration.

Kellyn Moran attended George Mason University from 2009 to 2011, where they pursued a Master's degree in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to that, they attended Miami University from 2005 to 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a MiniMBA from Miami University in January 2021, a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification from Salesforce in May 2020, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2015, and a Standard Professional certification in Early Childhood Education from the Maryland State Superintendent of Schools in July 2011.
