Vice President, Online Professional Development at Teaching Strategies

Kim DeMars has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Kim is currently the Vice President of Online Professional Development at Teaching Strategies, LLC since 2022. Previously, they served as the COO of Quality Assist, Inc. from 2004 to 2022, where they led the development of e-learning and e-professional development products. Kim also worked as a Director at Quality Assist, Inc. from 2004 to 2006, providing expertise and support to parents. Before that, they worked as a Therapist in private consulting from 1999 to 2000, focusing on developmental delays in children. Additionally, they worked as a Trainer and Facilitator in private consulting from 1995 to 1997, designing and evaluating home therapy programs for children with special needs. Kim also worked as a Teacher at Walden Preschool, (Emory University) from 1995 to 1996, where they facilitated inclusive research lab school settings.

Kim DeMars attended Wesleyan College from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology.
