Tracy Rijken

Tracy Rijken is a Senior GIS/VertiGIS Instructor at TeachMeGIS since August 2022, where responsibilities include creating and teaching classes on the VertiGIS Studio product suite, web development, and ArcGIS Pro. Tracy has been a Web Developer at Nakafern since October 2020 and previously served as a Senior GIS Trainer/Consultant at TeachMeGIS from January 2006 to August 2016, where training classes in GIS were created and taught. Earlier experience includes working as a GIS Application Developer at LandWorks, Inc. from October 1999 to October 2004, developing tools for ArcMap, and as a GIS Developer on the ArcToolbox team at Esri for a short tenure in 1999, focusing on testing scripts and software. Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Geography from the University of Victoria, earned between 1993 and 1999.
