Dr. Devam R Shah

Dr. Devam R Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Dr. Devam R has held key positions in various renowned companies and has contributed significantly to the growth and development of each organization.

Dr. Devam R started their career as a Software Engineer at IBM in 2011 and later worked as a Mobile Application Developer intern at G Auto in 2012. From 2010 to 2013, Dr. Shah served as an Ethical Hacker, specializing in bug bounty web hacking.

In 2014, they joined iFour Technolab Pvt. Ltd. as an Information Technology Management Intern, where they implemented ISO27001 controls and procedures. The following year, they worked as a Microsoft Student Associate, serving as a liaison between students and the Microsoft HR team.

Dr. Shah then joined Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in 2015, where they held multiple roles including Information Security Analyst, Information Security Officer, and Information Security Manager. At TCS, they oversaw the security of critical assets and projects, such as the EKA supercomputer and the TCS-EPIC case.

In 2019, Dr. Shah became the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Meditab Software, Inc., where they successfully led various cybersecurity projects and implemented innovative security measures. Dr. Devam R also co-founded ER Tech Pros and played a vital role in driving business development and leading a skilled technical team.

In 2021, Dr. Shah took on the role of Head of Information Security at Great Learning, where they ensured the implementation of information security controls and aligned security objectives with the company's growth targets. Currently, they serve as the CISO and Head of IT at Teachmint, contributing to the company's global expansion and IT-security strategies.

Throughout their career, Dr. Devam R Shah has demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of information security.

Dr. Devam R Shah obtained a PhD in Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare from the Indian School of Technology and Management, with an anticipated completion in 2023. Dr. Devam R also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Information Technology Business Management from SCIT - Symbiosis Centre For Information Technology, completed from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they completed a Diploma in Law from the Asian School of Cyber Laws in 2014. Dr. Shah's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering from 2009 to 2013, and they completed their high school education in Science at Sheth C.N. Vidyalaya from 2001 to 2009. Dr. Devam R has also obtained various certifications, such as Critical Thinking from Lynda.com in December 2016, EC-COUNCIL CERTIFIED SECURITY ANALYST (ECSA) V9 from EC-Council in December 2016, and ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor from ISOQAR Ltd in January 2016.
