Pete Ambrose

Pete Ambrose is an accomplished sports management professional with extensive experience in high-profile roles within Olympic and international sports. Currently serving as Sport Engagement Manager at the British Olympic Association since September 2019, Pete has facilitated collaboration with Performance Directors across Olympic sports and has led Team GB's Pre-Games Training Camp for Paris 2024. Previously, as Head of Games Services for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, Pete managed the logistical complexities for a 1000-member delegation in a challenging COVID-19 environment. With prior leadership roles at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, The Football Association, and England Rugby, Pete has consistently demonstrated expertise in event delivery, stakeholder management, and operational planning. Early experience as Sponsorship Services Manager at the British Olympic Association and a solid educational foundation in Law and Accounting from the University of Exeter complement Pete’s professional journey in sports management.
