Debra L. Lacy

Debra L. Lacy, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at TeamHealth since March 2023, focusing on the advancement of DEI programs. Previously, Debra held the same title at Texas Children's Hospital from April 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included developing enterprise-wide DEI strategies. Debra's extensive background at Liberty Mutual Insurance spanned over two decades, featuring roles such as Assistant Director of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Management Consultant in Talent & Enterprise Services. These roles involved creating innovative DEI products, leading strategic initiatives, and enhancing continuous improvement practices. Debra’s earlier positions included leadership in field operations and sales management, where significant improvements in customer satisfaction and employee retention were achieved. Debra holds a Doctor of Education degree from Baylor University, an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, and a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Development and Training from the University of Houston.
