Molly Michal

Molly Michal has a long and varied work experience in the arts. Molly began their career in 2004 as an Arts Coordinator at the British Council USA, where they were responsible for brokering and sustaining relationships and collaborations between British and American arts partners. Molly also organized trade missions, administered grant programs, and developed public literature, performing arts, and music projects. In 2012, they moved on to become the Marketing and Development Manager at the Northwest Film Forum, where they led integrated marketing, publicity and strategic communications efforts for 200+ film and performance programs a year, while cultivating external partnerships to support outreach and audience development. In 2015, they joined Team Soapbox as a Director and Community Curator. In this role, they managed and produced projects that included creative development and video production, event management, strategic planning and messaging, marketing campaigns, earned and paid media, and more.

Molly Michal attended New York University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinema Studies, English Literature, and Sociology.
