Sherry Gay-Dagnogo

Sherry Gay-Dagnogo, M.Ed. has a varied and extensive work experience. Sherry is currently the Director of Government Affairs & Academic Outreach at Team Wellness Center. Prior to this, they worked as an Education Consultant, serving as an Education Reform Strategist and managing Congressman John Conyers Jr.'s "Proposal S Campaign." Sherry also founded and served as the Executive Director of the Coalition to Integrate Technology & Education, where they established partnerships and organized tech camps for youth.

Sherry Gay-Dagnogo served as a State Representative for the 8th House District in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2014 to 2021. Sherry has also worked as the Director of Educational Performance at the United Way of SE Michigan, implementing engagement strategies and highlighting educational leaders.

Earlier in their career, Sherry Gay-Dagnogo worked in the Detroit Public Schools as an educator and lead science teacher. Sherry also served as a Fellow at Education Pioneers and held various roles at Detroit Edison Public Schools Academy and the City of Detroit.

Sherry Gay-Dagnogo, M.Ed. completed their educational journey with a Bachelor of Science in Instructional Technology at Wayne State University from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their Liberal Arts Associates degree from Oakland Community College between 1994 and 1997. Sherry also received a high school diploma from Oak Park High School in 1985, where they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program.
