Danny Timms

Danny Timms has a diverse work experience in the field of sports media. Danny began their career as a Sports Reporter at Time FM from September 2010 to May 2011. Danny then worked as a Sports Reporter at The Huddersfield Daily Examiner from November 2012 to March 2013. After that, they worked as a News and Sports Reporter at the North Wales Chronicle from May 2013 to June 2013, and as a Sports Reporter at the Yorkshire Evening Post in October 2013.

In 2013, Danny also had a role as a Media Assistant at FC Halifax Town during the 13/14 football season. Danny'sresponsibilities included match reports, filming games, commentating, writing updates, and taking photographs. Danny also conducted interviews with players for pre-match and post-match articles.

From May 2015 to July 2016, Danny worked as a Channel Manager for Sport at Diagonal View. Danny then joined Team Whistle as a Social Media Coordinator in August 2016, where they managed Whistle Sports' football/soccer channel called Whistle FC across various platforms. Danny grew and engaged the online community, edited and optimized content, and provided real-time updates during live football matches.

In February 2019, Danny transitioned to the role of Manager, Partnerships & New Initiatives at Team Whistle. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Content Partnerships at Team Whistle, a position they assumed in February 2022.

Danny Timms received their education in a chronological order. Danny attended Walthamstow Academy from 2003 to 2008 but did not attain any specific degree or field of study. From 2008 to 2011, they pursued their A Levels in Media, Film, Communication Studies, and Law at Havering College. Finally, from 2011 to 2014, they enrolled at The University of Huddersfield, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sports Journalism.
