Destiny Sanchez has an extensive work experience in the field of journalism and sports media. Destiny started their career in 2021 as a Producer for Penn State Sports Night, where they wrote scripts and edited content for weekly video segments. In the same year, they also became a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and served as the Vice President of the Association for Women in Sports Media at Penn State, where they guided aspiring females in the sports industry and oversaw the chapter website.

In 2022, Destiny joined the Big Ten Network as a Sideline Reporter, reporting and analyzing play-by-play action from the sidelines of various Penn State Athletics contests. Destiny also worked as a Student Talent for Penn State Athletics, creating feature content for all 31 collegiate sports at Penn State to be published on GoPSUSports.com and their social channels. Additionally, they became a member of the NAHJ (National Association of Hispanic Journalists) and worked as Talent for Mercury.
