Joel Victor

Joel Victor is a Technical Lead at TeamOhana, Inc. since July 2021. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer 2 - Data role at Helpshift from June 2015 to June 2021, where responsibilities involved building complex data pipelines and scaling Hadoop infrastructure to process 300GB per hour. Joel also served as a Software Artisan at Helpshift, where the data platform was developed from the ground up, utilizing various Hadoop technologies. An early role as a Software Artisan Intern included migrating dashboard analytics pipelines to Amazon Redshift. Prior internships featured an SDE Intern position at Amazon, focusing on optimizing fulfillment center product deficit calculations. Joel holds a Master of Computer Applications degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, attained between 2012 and 2014.
