Brian Ballard

Brian Ballard has extensive experience in various leadership roles and companies. Brian is currently the SVP of Solution Delivery at TeamViewer, where they focus on delivering innovative solutions using Augmented Reality for frontline workers. Prior to that, Brian was the CEO and Founder of Upskill, a company that provides wearable technology for hands-on workers. Upskill was acquired by TeamViewer in 2021. Before Upskill, Brian served as the Director of Product Development at Battlefield Telecommunication Systems and held various positions at Mav6, including CTO and Vice President. Brian also worked as a Field Operations Officer for the US Department of Defense. Throughout their career, Brian has played a key role in growing engineering teams, securing contracts, and implementing real capabilities for global operations.

Brian Ballard's education history includes a Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed from 2002 to 2003. Brian also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2011 to 2012. From 2006 to 2010, they obtained a Master's degree in Technology Management from the same institution. Furthermore, Brian is currently enrolled in the TeamViewer Next Gen Leadership Program at INSEAD, studying Business Administration and Management, General, which they are expected to complete by 2023.

Outside of their formal education, Brian has obtained certifications in "No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions" from MIT Professional Education and "INSEAD - Leadership Communication with Impact" from INSEAD, both in 2023.
