Troy C. began their career at Sellers Dorsey, where they worked as the Operations and Finance Manager/Project Manager from August 2004 to February 2010. During their time there, they established the internal infrastructure, systems, processes, controls, and analytics to support the growing healthcare consulting firm.

Lastly, Troy C. served as the Capitol Office Manager & Client Service Manager at State Net from September 2002 to August 2004. In this role, they managed the day-to-day operations of the Pennsylvania office and was responsible for new client development, legislative reporting, and quality control.

Troy C. attended Hershey High School from 1994 to 1998 but did not receive any formal degree or field of study at this institution. Following this, from 1998 to 2002, Troy C. attended Gettysburg College where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
