Ashok Jallepalli

Ashok Jallepalli started their work experience as an intern at UTV Toons in 2008. Ashok then worked as an R&D Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012, Ashok worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah, where they worked on physics-based animations and taught computer graphics and scientific computing courses. In 2012, they joined Microsoft as a Program Manager for the Kinect for Windows Team, where they helped ship the Kinect for Windows API and developed sample code for Kinect applications. Ashok then moved to Scientific Computing and Imaging in 2014, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on scientific computing and improving the Nektar++ software. Ashok joined Facebook in 2020 as a Research Data Scientist, and currently, they are working at Tebra as a Software Engineering Manager since 2023.

Ashok Jallepalli began their education at Gowtham Junior College in 2002, where they pursued a degree in Maths and Physics and completed their +2 education. In 2004, they enrolled at DA-IICT and graduated with a degree in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in 2008. After a gap in education, Ashok attended the University of Utah from 2010 to 2012, earning a Masters in Computational Engineering and Science specializing in Scientific Computing. Ashok later pursued their Ph.D. in Scientific Computing at the University of Utah from 2014 to 2019.
