Joshua Magdaleno

Joshua Magdaleno has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Joshua currently works at Tebra as a Software Engineer II, where they are responsible for orchestrating batch-processed pipelines using Apache Airflow to ingest customer data into the Snowflake Data Warehouse. Joshua also creates SQL queries, structures data, and makes schema changes on Snowflake.

Prior to Tebra, Joshua worked at Kareo as a Software Engineer II, where they had similar responsibilities involving data ingestion and ETL processes using Apache Airflow and SQL queries. Joshua also wrote tests for Spring Boot microservices.

Before Kareo, Joshua worked at CSUN_ARCS as a Software Engineer Lead Research Associate, where they focused on architecting a research system for machine learning on aircraft. Joshua led a team of research students and utilized Neo4j for analyzing and visualizing large datasets.

Joshua also worked at Toyota Connected North America as a Consulting Software Engineer, developing features and views in Vue.js and modeling API service calls.

Additionally, Joshua gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Medtronic, where they developed services and user interfaces for diabetic patients. Joshua collaborated with the R&D team and created prototypes for new technologies.

Earlier in their career, Joshua worked at META+LAB as a Software Developer and Front-End Developer Intern, and at Ulta Beauty as a Prestige Beauty Advisor, providing customer advice and assistance.

Joshua Magdaleno obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge. Joshua attended the university from 2015 to 2020.
