Michele Poffo

Michele Poffo has over 25 years of work experience. Michele began their career as a Liutenant Junior Grade at Guardia di Finanza in 1994. Michele then worked as a Sales Assistant at Usi Italia in 1996. From 1996 to 2000, Poffo was a bank employee at Deutsche Bank S.p.A. In 2000, they briefly worked as a Financial Controller at Iveco. Poffo then joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in 2001 as a Senior Internal Auditor, where they worked until 2005. Michele then moved to MENARINI Group as a Senior Internal Auditor until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, Poffo worked as a Leader Consultant in Internal Audit Projects at Jefferson Wells. Michele then joined Solera, Inc. as an Internal Audit Manager from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, Poffo became a Board Member at ACFE Italy Chapter and also took on the role of Head of Internal Audit and Compliance at Tecan.

Michele Poffo obtained a Laurea in Business Administration from Università degli Studi di Verona from 1989 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Maturità Scientifica from Liceo Scientifico between 1983 and 1988. In terms of additional certifications, Michele received various certifications including Zugelassener Revisor from Eidgenössische Revisionsaufsichtsbehörde in 2015, Certification in Risk Management Assurance from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2013, Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA in 2011, Certified Fraud Examiner from Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2009, Quality Assessment/Validation from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2008, Certification in Control Self Assessment from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2004, and Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2004.
