Kamran Makarian

Kamran Makarian, Ph.D., serves as a Data Scientist Fellow at Tech Impact since June 2023, focusing on renewable energy projects and enhancing job recommender systems through advanced data analysis. Prior to this role, Kamran was a Senior Research Engineer at Saint-Gobain, managing the development of high-temperature lightweight products and implementing machine learning for predictive analytics. Kamran's academic journey includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Drexel University, where expertise in additive manufacturing and material testing was developed, and positions as a research assistant at Villanova University, investigating ceramic composites for NASA. Kamran’s educational background comprises a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, alongside a Bachelor's degree from Islamic Azad University.
