Meryl Holt

Meryl Holt currently serves as the Head of Legal and Chief Compliance Officer at Cadence and is a Charter Member of TechGC since November 2021. Previously, Meryl held positions as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division of the Central District of California and as a Litigation Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton. Meryl's early career includes roles as a Corporation Counsel Honors Fellow at the New York City Law Department and a member of the policy team at Hillary for America. Meryl gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk for Judge Joel M. Flaum at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and completed summer associate positions at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP and Jenner & Block. Legal internship experience includes working with Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Inc. Meryl Holt holds a JD/MBA, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School, and a BA with honors from Stanford University, where Meryl was recognized as a Phi Beta Kappa member.
