Priya Venkat

Priya Venkat has extensive experience in legal counsel and advisory roles, currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at bitWise Academy and the International Intellectual Property Law Association since 2014 and 2019, respectively. Priya has been a Charter Member of TechGC since October 2021 and held the position of General Counsel at Skylo Technologies until 2024. Previous positions include Deputy General Counsel at Ribbon Communications, General Counsel at Edgewater Networks, and Chief Legal Counsel at GTL. Priya also served as Director, Legal & Lead Counsel for North America at Capgemini and began the legal career at King & Spalding and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Priya holds a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University, an LL.M. candidate from the University of Illinois Chicago focusing on Information Technology and Privacy Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder.
