Chris Gervais

Chris Gervais has diverse work experience in the field of user experience design and mentoring. Chris currently works as a User Experience Designer and Team Lead at TechInsights since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a UX Design Mentor at Designlab, where they provided personalized mentorship to students and guided them through the UX design process. Chris also served as a Design Admissions Specialist at Pathrise from June 2021 to June 2022. Before these roles, Chris worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at Nexus Communications Inc for over 15 years, where they led teams and prioritized user-focused design. Chris also has experience as a Flash Designer and Developer at 22nd Century Mindware and as a Front-end Designer and Developer at Laurentian Media. Chris co-founded Nexus Graphics where they served as a Visual Designer and Developer.

Chris Gervais attended Cambrian College from 1997 to 2000, where they studied Graphic Design. In addition to their college education, Chris has obtained various certifications in fields such as Data-Driven Design, Design Research Mastery, and Angular Development. They have also obtained certifications in Interaction Design, NodeJS, Digital Product Design, SEO, Project Management, and Mobile App Development, among others.
